Why TakeoffBOT exists

TakeoffBOT started on a millwork estimator's desk. Tom Morin has spent more than 30 years in commercial millwork: running CNCs, managing hospital builds and heading one of Western Canada's leading millwork firms. He watched the shop floor get faster every decade while estimating stayed on paper, highlighters and spreadsheets.

He went looking for takeoff software built for Division 06. There wasn't any. General construction tools treated millwork drawings as flat pages. So we built it.

TakeoffBOT does for estimating what CNC did for the shop: it takes on the repetitive mechanical work so skilled people can produce more, with more consistency and control. The estimator stays the expert.
